FAQ's
Ordering from us is simple. Find the product you want to buy and click the "Add To Cart" button. This will take you to the "Cart" page where you can review your order before proceeding to the "Checkout” page.
Remember to carefully check the details you enter for your address. We ship worldwide and offer a variety of shipping methods through Royal Mail as well as postage options that include insurance.
Please double check your delivery address is correct and that the system has assigned you a Royal Mail shipping rate. The main reason for non-delivery or slow delivery is an error in the address details - however good your postal service is none of them are able to deliver if your address is incorrect or the system hasn't applied a shipping rate correctly.
You will be able to pay through our preferred payment provider PayPal with your PayPal account or by entering your credit/debit card details. The secure payment process is all handled on PayPal's servers, we don't store or have access to any sensitive card details on the website.
Once your order is received you will receive an email from store@fishmusic.scot confirming your order.
Check the confirmation email you receive carefully and email sales@fishmusic.scot if anything is wrong with your order or the shipping details. If you do not receive our order confirmation email please check your spam folders before emailing sales@fishmusic.scot. We shall re-send a copy to you.
If you have ordered Royal Mail Tracked and Signed for your order you will be sent a further email on processing of your order which will contain your tracking number.
If an order is made without being optioned as being tracked and signed for we are unable to give you any further information on delivery status as once the package leaves our office it is under control of the postal services.
Pre-order items will be processed sequentially i.e. earliest orders first.
If you have a confirmation email then your order is in our system and will be processed. Please do not send emails asking when your item has been sent out as all orders received will be processed as soon as possible.
All our shipping costs are carefully calculated by Royal Mail taking into account the packaging required and the weight of the items ordered. Sometimes shipping costs may appear high, but please appreciate that items such as heavyweight vinyl and box sets are very heavy thus require more expensive rates in order to send.
You can see shipping costs in the cart and checkout. On the checkout you will also see VAT/TAX subject to your location. Shipping costs and VAT/TAX are confirmed at checkout. If you are ordering more than one item the shipping rate will automatically be updated. Please make sure that your address is entered correctly on both the Cart and Checkout pages to ensure that the Royal Mail shipping calculator finds the best rate for your order.
Ordering two or more items in one order sometimes means there’s a saving on shipping against placing individual orders if the overall weight of the package doesn’t exceed mailing limits. Some products have specially designed packaging and have to be sent individually to protect the item you are buying.
Some products, like new release pre-order items and vinyl editions, can only be purchased alone, without any other items in the cart. This is because of the demand for new releases and for the weight/bulk involved in packaging vinyl albums.
